Quality Control & Quality Assurance Division at IIIM, Jammu has developed an expertise in the specialized area of Analytical Chemistry, Food Chemistry, Quality Evaluation of Natural/ Herbal products and finger printing of Herbal formulations. As such QC & QA Division is engaged in the analysis of trace elements, heavy metals, aflatoxins and pesticides in honey, water, soft drinks, alcoholic and non alcoholic beverages, herbal drugs, walnut and other nuts/ products for domestic/ export market and other food items like spices and condiments and animal/poultry feed etc.
QC & QA Division has been accredited by National Accreditation Board for Testing and Calibration Laboratories (NABL, Deptt. of Science & Technology) as per ISO 17025:2005 in the field of chemical testing.
